We are closing down SMA!

 

“For almost 50 Years SMA actively promoted String playing in Atlantic Canada through its support of Professional Musicians, String Music Education and String Music Students. SMA facilitated musical events within the local community through organization and sponsorship. By the end of 2023 we will have established four Endowment funds to continue our work, Throughout 2024 we will officially close all operations of SMA. ”

 

How do we did this?

 

· SMA had an instrument bank with a variety of instruments for children and adults. 

· We had scholarships and prizes for outstanding students. 

· We sponsored concerts and supported musical organizations within the community.
