Our Mission

 

“SMA actively promotes String playing in Atlantic Canada through its support of Professional Musicians, String Music Education and String Music Students. SMA facilitates musical events within the local community through organization and sponsorship.”

 

How do we do this?

· SMA has an instrument bank with a variety of instruments for children and adults. 

· We have scholarships and prizes for outstanding students. 

· We sponsor concerts and support musical organizations within the community.
